Messenger/Driver

HireHound Recruitment is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our client's team as a Messenger/Driver on a full-time basis. 

Responsibilities: 

• Distributing files, folders, mail, store items, etc; 
• Delivering parcels, documents and correspondence by hand, if required; 
• Delivering/collecting mail to/from the postal operator/s; 
• Purchasing and/or collecting items and materials from suppliers as required; 
• Moving furniture and equipment and handling stored items (must be physically fit); 
• Undertaking driving duties through the proper use of the Bank’s vehicles; 
• Handling loads and performing heavy duties, in line with operational exigencies; 
• Ensuring that the Bank’s vehicles – whether owned or leased - are always kept in a proper state of upkeep (including electrical charging where applicable); 
• Providing assistance to Property and Procurement Department as required, particularly during special events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; 
• Valid Maltese driving license (essential); 
• Must be able to communicate well in English.
