Mechanical Foreman

Motherwell Bridge Industries Limited is seeking to recruit a Mechanical Foreman.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service operations, allocating resources and monitoring personnel efficiency, and monitoring health and safety practices in assigned work areas and workshops. The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for all direct communication with clients and suppliers and with the Company’s Administration.
 

The position calls for a technically-minded, energetic and organized individual, who can manage priorities when many important and urgent tasks arise simultaneously, and who can interact well with all stakeholders.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The selected candidate will have at least three years’experience in a similar position, preferably in a mechanical engineering industry, should be in possession of a mechanical engineering qualification from a recognised institution, be able to work at heights and on own initiative with tight deadlines, and be a team player.
 

A valid driving licence together with good command of both written and spoken English and Maltese are a must. Additionally, the candidate will be computer literate and familiar with organization of stocks and supply of parts, inventory management and stock control.
