Maintenance Technician

Our client is a food manufacturer and is looking for a Maintenance Technician to:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment under the guidance of the head of maintenance.
• Aid in the installation of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems, and perform repairs as needed.
• Test, diagnose issues, and carry out basic repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Ensure equipment remains reliable, safe, and easy to maintain.
• Help implement health and safety procedures, maintaining a safe facility and adhering to best safety practices.

Shift pattern: day in day out

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Comfortable working shifts.

• Electrical Licenses A & B.
• Previous experience in a similar role/environment.
