Maintenance Technician

Our highly reputable client has been in the industry for over 40 years. They are continuously growing and they are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Malta.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Inspect machinery regularly and follow a scheduled maintenance plan.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Support equipment upgrades and modifications to enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and stay informed on industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with production teams to coordinate maintenance efforts.
• Manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 6AM - 2PM and 2PM - 10PM

This role is also open to junior as well as candidates with some years of similar experience.

• Experience working in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Must be already based in Malta.
