Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview

We are currently seeking for a passionate and dynamic Maintenance Supervisor who takes pride on their ability to deliver high-quality standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this person will oversee and manage all the stock inventory procedures whilst ensuring proper storage of stock items and tools.  

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintains constant communication with the Maintenance Manager and employees, ensuring all parties are up to date on all pertinent hotel and department information.
• Performs routine installations, maintenance, testing and the repairing of building systems and related equipment.
• Assigns duties and supervises the performance of employees.
• Provides ongoing support for development of preventative maintenance methods and procedures for all equipment, training staff on correct upgrades as needed.
• Assures staff is supplied with proper supplies, equipment, and information to do their job. This includes maintaining an inventory of all necessary items.
• Assigns and generates work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and holds staff accountable for the quantity, quality and timely completion of general work assignments and projects.
• Performs other cleaning duties as required.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Must be customer service driven and detail-oriented.
• Must be a team player and have good verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
