Maintenance Manager (Factory)

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Manager (Factory) to oversee maintenance operations in a manufacturing plant. 

Reporting to the Head of Maintenance and Building Services, you will maintain the reliability and efficiency of production machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure within a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will guide factory technicians, coordinate external contractors, and provide hands-on troubleshooting when required.

The Main Responsibilities include: 

• Lead, train, and supervise factory maintenance staff and technicians.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for high-volume machinery and utilities to minimize production downtime.
• Direct technicians on complex issues, decide when to involve 3rd-party specialists, and assist directly hands-on when needed.
• Ensure maintenance cover for a round-the-clock facility; act as 2nd-tier on-call escalation after hours (technicians are 1st contact).
• Enforce OHSA regulations, environmental safety, and strict food manufacturing hygiene standards.
• Maintain factory structures, utilities, and plant infrastructure.
• Support the Head of Maintenance on machinery performance, upgrades, and efficiency goals

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM 

Requirements

• Strong expertise in industrial machinery, mechanical, electrical, and facility utility systems.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• High accountability, proactive mindset, and ability to operate in a continuous 24/7 environment.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance role
• Background in manufacturing, industrial plant, or food production environments is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position
