Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to Join one of the most reputable MEP Contractors in Malta. Your role would be to lead their teams in completing maintenance tasks to the highest standard, within agreed time frames. The successful candidate will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance problems and ensure they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
• Create and manage weekly maintenance schedules, allocate workloads to teams, and coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities
• Oversee all repairs and ensure work is completed to the company's standards and on time
• Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring that all supplies and tools are in good condition and stored appropriately
• Ensure that the maintenance teams comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site
• Plan and organize preventative maintenance work, as well as follow up on all maintenance and repair work to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to meet workload demands on time and within budget
• Ensure that the required supplies of parts, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete the task assigned are available
• Prepare the site for work, including ladders or scaffolding, and use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required
• Transport tools, equipment, and supplies of materials required on job sites
• Ensure that job sites are cleared at the end of duty by collecting all company tools and materials to be carted away
• Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, including wearing a clean, company-provided uniform and PPE daily, and maintaining effective communication with customers and co-workers
• Attend any training provided by the Company to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail and good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence in abilities and willingness to be hands-on
• Excellent communication skills with customers, colleagues, and superiors at all times
• Respectful, courteous, and positive attitude while taking care of customers and company property
• Capability to handle power tools and follow basic technical instructions
• Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
