Installer (Shelving and Racking)

Storage Systems Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Installer (Shelving and Racking) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
We are local leaders in the warehousing and intralogistics sector, with an ever-growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and dismantling Lightweight shelving, Pallet rack, Drive rack, Gravity flow racking, Mobile Shelving and rack systems, Cantilever rack, Long-span span and Mezzanine structures
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Helping out to make sure installation is carried out to manufacture specs (frame orientation, bracing pattern, row spacer locations, shimming, bolting etc)
• Making sure the site is cleared and tidy on job completion
• Travelling to and from jobs
• Behave professionally
• The role will require lifting heavy items at times so being fit and healthy would be beneficial.

Essential:

• B driving licence, C1 would be preferred
• Teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Adherence to health and safety regulations
• Role will require lifting at times
• Comfortable working at heights.

Desirable:

• Hold a forklift truck/scissor lift certification, if not training and certification will be provided
• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Experience working in a similar role.
