Assistant Electrical Technician

We are a construction company seeking an experienced and responsible Assistant Electrical Technician to join our maintenance department in a safe and timely manner. The Assistant Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshooting machinery and equipment.

Essential Duties

The key duties of the Assistant Electrical Technician, listed in order of importance, include:

1. Identify and repair issues on both domestic and industrial installations such as motors, generators, distribution equipment systems, wiring systems, lighting systems, etc.

2. Understand electrical diagrams and the functions of the components within the diagrams.

3. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and appliances.

4. Identify and gather tools needed before commencing a task to complete the job effectively.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications: Possess an electrical or a related certificate.

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years working in an Electrical Technician-related role.
