SmartCity (Malta) Ltd is looking to recruit a Handyman to join the Facilities Management team on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week between 07:00 AM to 15:30 PM daily.

Responsibilities:
  • General maintenance work including plumbing, carpentry, general plastering, and painting
  • Assist in the preventive and corrective maintenance of plants and equipment under the guidance of technical staff
  • Handle the maintenance of general office fixtures, bathrooms, doors, apertures, and furniture
  • Assist electrical technicians in electrical works, when required
  • Perform basic plumbing troubleshooting and repairs
  • Inspect the property and report any maintenance-related issues
  • Supervise 3rd party contractors on the premises
  • Attend to basic wear and tear when needed.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Pleasant personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizing and time-management skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written Maltese and English
  • A ‘can do’ and problem-solving approach
  • Quality work and attention to detail
  • Clean police conduct and driver’s license
  • Knowledge of basic welding will be considered an asset.
