Maintenance Supervisor

IBB Hammett’s Operations Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its award-winning team, on a part-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for the perfect candidates who will be employed on a part-time permanent basis and responsible for overseeing and manage the maintenance operations across three of our restaurants. 

Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities across the three restaurants, ensuring efficient operation and reducing the risk of equipment breakdowns
• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, kitchen appliances, and other restaurant-specific equipment
• Emergency Response: Be available for emergency repairs 
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status. Generate reports to the management on maintenance work and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or facility management, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair restaurant equipment such as ovens, grills, refrigerators, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical components
• Expertise in troubleshooting and fixing kitchen appliances like fryers, grills, ovens, dishwashers, and refrigeration units
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Proactive in identifying potential problems and implementing preventive solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with restaurant management
• High attention to detail to ensure repairs are done properly and to prevent repeat issues or breakdowns.
