PharOS Ltd is currently seeking a Calibration Technician within the Engineering department, to join their team on a full-time basis as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs calibration activities on all site equipment in accordance to standard operating procedures and calibration protocols.
  • Maintains and updates the calibration schedule and reviews and closes off calibration works.
  • Ensures that the required calibration standards/reference devices to perform in-house calibrations are available and properly maintained.
  • Liaises with external contractors with regards to external calibrations.
  • Performs preventive maintenance in accordance to the preventative maintenance schedule and standard operating procedures on laboratory equipment.
  • Performs corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment in the most efficient manner to ensure the shortest possible outage of equipment.
  • Maintains the environmental monitoring systems.
  • Performs HEPA filter Integrity Testing.
  • Actively participates in the design, procurement, training, installation, commissioning and qualification of new equipment.
  • Prepares and updates Standard Operating Procedures, Calibration Protocols/Certificates and other relevant documentation.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diploma in Industrial Electronics or equivalent qualification.
  • Electricity Installation, Alteration, Extension and Certification of Electrical Wirings and Fittings (Electrician Authorisation – A & B).
  • Experience in laboratory and/or manufacturing equipment calibration.
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and possess the ability to analyze problems rationally and provide solutions, if necessary, after consultation with immediate supervisor.
