General Maintenance

Full-time General Maintenance 

A vacancy has arisen within the Engineering Department for the post of full-time General Maintenance. The successful applicant will form part of a small team whose primary role is to carry out painting, plastering, gypsum works, wall-paper laying, floor and wall tile laying and basic plumbing works in the hotel and its grounds. The selected applicant may also be required to carry out general handyman jobs, including but not limited to wall/floor trenching, hanging of picture-frames/fittings and unblocking drains.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with good interpersonal skills and who can work on his/her own initiative to the highest quality levels within rigorous standards. This person should be well-organised with attention to detail and quality workmanship, be literate in both Maltese and English, be able to work in a team and also unsupervised, be smart and well-groomed. Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
