ELV Technician
Firetech Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an ELV Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.
Overview:
We are continuously looking for outstanding people to join our ELV team at Firetech.
The role of an ELV technician is pivotal to the success of our ELV team. Our technicians shall be the go-to-persons, providing technical solutions and will have the overall responsibility to ensure the planning, coordinating, and installation of domestic and commercial fire and security ELV systems.
Duties include:
- Responsibility for installation, configuration and maintenance of ELV systems
- Diagnosing malfunctions, repairing and testing faulty equipment and devices
- Bench testing of new equipment and devices
- On-Site technical support and problem-solving
- Training, supporting and mentoring our installers engaged in installations
- Take an active role in Research and Development.
We are looking for people who have:
- A minimum of three years experience working in a similar environment and with experience in ELV systems
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- A valid, local driving license
- Have a positive approach to people and work
- Technical qualifications or equivalent would be preferred, although not essential.
