Drivers D Category (Immediate Employment)

WT Continental in Malta is currently looking to recruit Drivers (D Category) to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team for immediate employment in the D category. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and/or passengers to their designated locations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a vehicle and follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport goods and/or passengers to their designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to save time and fuel
• Inspect vehicles for any mechanical issues and report any necessary repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
• Keep track of vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the appropriate department
• Communicate with dispatch and/or customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid D category driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional driver
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to operate a vehicle in a variety of weather and road conditions
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects if necessary
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
