Gardener/Groundsman

Paradise Bay Hotel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Gardener / Grounds man to maintain and enhance the hotel’s outdoor areas. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that gardens, landscapes, and general outdoor spaces are well-kept, clean, and safe for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain gardens, lawns, and plants through watering, pruning, mowing, and weeding.
• Cultivate and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the hotel’s surroundings.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems for efficient water usage.
• Keep outdoor areas, including pathways, parking spaces, and entrances, clean and free of debris.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as clearing drains, removing fallen branches, and ensuring safe access to all external spaces.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping (at least 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience in a hospitality setting is an advantage.
• Physically fit and comfortable working with gardening tools and machinery.
