Electrician Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Electrician Mechanic to join the team of our client. The ideal candidate is a diagnostic specialist who thrives on solving complex electrical issues, reading intricate wiring diagrams, and performing electrical calibrations.

Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults.
• Read, interpret, and execute repairs using technical electrical wiring diagrams.
• Perform system calibrations and troubleshoot advanced vehicle electronics, including immobilizers, keys, and control modules.
• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to ensure they are fully safe and roadworthy.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical components in strict line with manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.
• Maintain precise, up-to-date records of all inspections, repairs, and services completed, ensuring all paperwork is filed according to company procedures.
• Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, explain diagnostic findings, provide practical recommendations, and prepare repair estimates.
• Safely operate and maintain workshop tools and diagnostic equipment, ensuring a clean, hazard-free workspace that complies with all safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop.

Requirements

• AC and Refrigeration technician is also an asset, and can be considered
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams

Education and Experience

• Relevant experience as an Electrician Mechanic
