Auto Spray Painter

We are currently looking for a Spray Painter to join a leading client within the automotive industry. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare accident-damaged vehicles and vehicle panels for the painting process;
• Clean, sand, smooth, and prime surfaces to ensure an excellent paint finish;
• Remove rust, old paint, and other surface imperfections using appropriate tools and techniques;
• Mask off surrounding areas to protect surfaces that are not being painted;
• Mix and match paint colours to achieve an accurate finish in line with manufacturer specifications;
• Operate spray-painting equipment and colour-matching systems to apply coatings evenly and professionally;
• Select the appropriate materials, spray guns, and nozzles for each repair;
• Inspect completed paintwork, carry out any necessary touch-ups, and ensure quality standards are met before vehicle release;
• Clean and maintain spray-painting equipment and work areas after use;
• Stay informed of new painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices;
• Follow all health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organised workspace;
• Assist with any additional duties as required by the workshop management team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques;
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Candidates must be already located in Malta with a valid work permit.

Education and Experience

• Previous experience as a Auto Spray Painter is required
