Duty Electrician

A full-time opportunity has arisen within the Engineering Department for the position of Duty Electrician, offering a key role in delivering prompt and effective support to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The selected candidate will form part of a small, dedicated team providing 24/7 coverage throughout the year. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure immediate and effective response to any guest complaint requiring engineering intervention, delivering prompt and high-quality service at all times.

During night shifts, the Duty Electrician will also be responsible for carrying out first-line intervention on any engineering-related issues that may arise, ensuring operational continuity and guest satisfaction.

This position calls for a highly motivated individual who can work on their own initiative while maintaining the highest standards of quality in line with established procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an Electrician’s Licence ‘A’ qualification or equivalent

• Be willing to work shifts, including nights

• Possess basic technical skills and be computer literate

• Demonstrate a professional and well-groomed appearance

• Have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Be flexible, well-organised, and adaptable to changing daily priorities

• Show a willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Have a good command of spoken and written English

• Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be considered an asset
