The Little Sisters Of The Poor in Malta is currently looking to recruit a State Registered Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate State Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a State Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Your main goal will be to promote and maintain the health and well-being of our patients while adhering to all state regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to all state regulations and standards for nursing practice
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical care as needed
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient progress and needs
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.


Requirements:

  • Valid State Registered Nurse license
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
  • Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on medical advancements and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
