Our client, a leading brand on the island for industrial goods, is expanding its business to include home appliances. They will be opening a new showroom in the centre of Malta predominantly selling appliances and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to join their team and lead the showroom operations to success.

Job Summary:

The Showroom Manager will oversee all aspects of showroom operations, ensuring an outstanding customer experience while driving sales and achieving business targets. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in retail management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Showroom Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the showroom, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely restocking of products.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the showroom sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, promotions, and events to drive showroom traffic and sales.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor showroom staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the showroom budget, including sales forecasting and expense control.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to the company General Manager.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance repeat business.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the showroom experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the home appliances industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in Maltese & English
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
