Its subsidiary, TrioMed, is a leader in the local Medical Devices, Hospital Equipment and Health Technology markets, representing industry leaders like Philips Healthcare, Hologic, and Linet.

We are expanding our Management team and are looking for a full-time Pharma Tenders Business Manager.

Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Pharma Tenders Business Manager would be to further consolidate Prohealth’s presence in the local Pharma Public Tenders market through successful management of already existing supplier and customer relationships and at the same time, establish new ones in this area of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the Tender process, from identification of the most suitable compliant suppliers to the preparation of timely and competitive tender bids, to the eventual coordination of supply of awarded tender bids.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline through market research, networking, and collaboration with key healthcare professionals working in the public sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders within CPSU, public hospitals, and other public healthcare institutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team, including regulatory affairs, supply chain and logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary diploma/degree level of education (ideally in a healthcare or related discipline, such as Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Lab Science, and Nursing).
  • A strong understanding of public procurement processes.
  • A basic business and commercial skillset that includes some financial acumen combined with negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
  • Very good written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, while at the same time demonstrating high standards of leadership.
  • Goal-driven with a track record of meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset.
