Shop Manager - Office Hours

Cestine is currently looking for a Shop Manager - Office Hours to join their team on a full-time basis. 

As a Shop Manager specializing in wines, spirits, and giftware, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and knowledgeable environment for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our wine and spirits collection, as well as our giftware range, and provide expert recommendations to customers
• Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, making product recommendations, and ensuring a delightful shopping experience
• Inventory Management: Help with inventory control, restocking shelves, and managing product displays to maintain an organized and visually appealing store. This includes making weekly orders for all local suppliers.
• Wine and Spirit Tastings: Coordinate and conduct wine and spirit tastings, educating customers about various products and their characteristics
• Gift Wrapping: Provide professional gift wrapping services for customers purchasing giftware items
• Cash Handling: Accurately processes transactions and handles cash and card payments
• Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy store, including periodic cleaning tasks.
• Posting Daily Stories and Posts on Socials including answering queries
online.
• Preparation of Roster for all staff at the shop. Opening hours of the shop are Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Opening/Closing of Shop: Assigned to be responsible for opening/closing shop and putting on/off the alarm system.

Requirements:

• Can speak fluently both Maltese and English. 
• 1 year of previous retail experience would be considered an asset.
