Shop Floor Sales Manager

Our client, a Retail leader, is looking to recruit a Shop Floor Sales Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the CCO, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee all sales operations, ensuring the store meets or exceeds sales targets;
• Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjustments;
• Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop and implement promotional strategies;
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels;
• Partner with the Store Operations Manager to ensure smooth daily operations;
• Address any operational issues promptly to maintain high standards of customer service;
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team'
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and develop training programs to enhance team skills and performance;
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service throughout the store;
• Engage with customers to build lasting relationships and ensure their satisfaction;
• Report regularly to the Head of Retail on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives;
• Utilize data to forecast sales and develop action plans to address any gaps.

Working Hours

a 40Hr week spread on a Monday to Sunday roster (with up to 2 days off)

• Proven experience in retail sales management, preferably in the DIY or home improvement sector.
• Must be locally settled, with local expereince in the field.
