VJ Salomone Consumer Lines Ltd is growing and requires the services of a Full-Time / Part Time Shop Assistant to join its current team at Falco Pet Shop in San Gwann. 

The selected candidate will report directly to the Shop Supervisor and would be willing to work afternoons till 7 pm from Monday to Friday and till 2 pm on Saturdays.  

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Welcoming customers and ascertaining their needs
• Ensuring continuous high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Restocking and labelling of shelves
• Recommending products by keeping up to date with product features and benefits
• Displaying products by following visual merchandising standards
• Handling Cash accurately and managing point-of-sale processes
• Keeping the shop clean and organized.

Although not mandatory, preference shall be given to candidates having the following requisites:

• Love for animals and knowledge of pet care will be considered an asset
• Ability to speak, read and write in both Maltese and English
• Willing to learn and possesses a can-do attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Organised and with problem solving skills
• Have knowledge/skills of handling FB and back-office.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate.
