Sales Team Leader

Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a Sales Team Leader to join our dynamic team.  The selected candidate will delegate tasks, set deadlines, motivate and supports a team of sales representatives whilst liaising with senior management with regards to the overall sales strategy of the Company.  He/She will also be responsible for a team of Merchandisers to ensure the smooth flow of processes in all our clients’ outlets.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and developing our presence in the field 
• Keeping a good rapport with all clients in the company’s best interests
• Spending the better part of the day out in the field visiting clients
• Keeping informed of new products and services and analysing the market
• Identifying new sales opportunities and suggesting improvements 
• Overseeing merchandising in all outlets

Requirements for the role include:

• Experience in the Maltese market and especially in the FMCG industry
• Team player with a can-do attitude and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure 
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Maltese and English
• Be IT literate.
