Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales Representative to contribute to its continued growth within the lighting and electrical solutions industry. This role will focus on increasing sales performance across both business and consumer markets, implementing sales initiatives, developing new opportunities, and strengthening existing customer relationships. The successful candidate will play an important role in achieving revenue targets, improving sales efficiency, and supporting the Company’s expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Drive revenue generation by actively promoting products, achieving sales targets, and identifying opportunities to increase market share across B2B and B2C segments.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Support the implementation of sales plans and business development initiatives aimed at expanding the Company’s customer base and commercial reach.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, providing professional advice and ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities, develop potential customer leads, and contribute to the expansion of the Company’s product offering within relevant markets.
  • Sales Administration: Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and pricing information while maintaining effective sales records, reporting, and forecasting.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Education: A qualification or relevant training in sales, business, electrical studies, or a related field would be considered an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales is required, with experience within the electrical industry considered highly advantageous. A strong background in both B2B and B2C sales environments is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of both Maltese and English is required to succeed in this role. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively with customers, professionals, and internal stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to develop trusted relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver a customer-focused sales approach.
  • Technical Skills: Good computer literacy and the ability to use digital tools for sales administration, reporting, and customer management.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple opportunities, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-Motivated: A driven and ambitious approach with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and achieve agreed sales objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess customer requirements, provide suitable solutions, and handle challenges effectively throughout the sales process.
