The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent service, and supporting the daily operations of the sandwich shop in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately
  • Operate the POS system and issue receipts
  • Assist in preparing simple orders (sandwiches, drinks) if required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
  • Ensure proper display and restocking of items
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints
  • Follow hygiene, food safety, and company standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service (preferred)
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Friendly attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in food service or hospitality
  • Familiarity with POS systems
