The vacancy
Our company is looking to recruit an experienced, energetic, communicative, and passionate Sales Representative to join our Food Service Sales team on a full-time basis.
Duties and responsibilities
• Selling and promoting the company’s products with existing and new clients.
• Generate and identify new sales leads / opportunities to maximise the sales route potential.
• Schedule appropriate sales activity to develop and maintain a customer database.
• Work closely with our customer base, offering them their due individual care and attention to understand their needs and supply them with an appropriate product range.
• Providing information and responding timely to customer queries.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies to improve clients’ performance.
• Liaise with management to be able to attain and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Reporting back on customer feedback.
The applicant
Applicants are required to have an outgoing and positive personality, be confident, and be capable of working on their own initiative. Have a flair for sales and a results-driven work attitude to achieve set monthly targets, while also possessing good communication and interpersonal skills.
Being a good team player, enjoying working in a team environment, while also being individually responsible for their respective areas of responsibility. Problem-solving and negotiating skills are also prerequisites to qualify for these roles.
Applicants must be in possession of clean police conduct and a clean driving license. Experience and knowledge in food-related activities within the catering industry will be considered an asset.
