Shop Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

Bureau Vallée is looking for an energetic and dedicated Assistant Shop Manager to support the store’s daily operations and help lead our team in our stores in San Gwann and St Paul's Bay

Reporting directly to the Shop Manager, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, staff coordination, and smooth day-to-day running of the store. This is a great opportunity for someone with retail experience looking to take the next step in their career within a growing international brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Shop Manager in supervising and guiding the store team
• Support in achieving sales targets and maintaining high customer service standards
• Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
• Contribute to staff training and development
• Take initiative in managing the store in the absence of the Shop Manager
• Help monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers when needed
• Support with administrative tasks and reporting

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• A team player with leadership potential
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Maltese or French is an asset
