VF Group in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Store Manager (BOSS) to join their team on a full-time basis.

In the Media division, Faces is a leading outdoor media company in Malta with over 450 advertising locations and large-format printing.

Fashion Retail includes luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, and HUGO BOSS, while Samsonite is located at Malta International Airport. BTI in the Manufacturing Division specializes in work apparel and represents global brands.

The Position:

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will use your passion for the brand as well as commercial and people skills to support the Store Manager in leading the whole store, maximizing its full potential and profitability.

You will lead by example, set the tone for the store, and provide feedback to your team that will result in a more efficient, productive, and profitable store that exceed company expectations. It is your role to protect the Service environment by consistently making decisions that enhance the customer’s experience in the store and with the brand.

He/she will be expected to represent the brand of HUGO, ensuring the team delivers an excellent customer experience and contribute to the success of our store by selling and prompting our merchandise, assisting customers with their requirements, ensuring the proper care and presentation of our garments, and delivering adherence to Company policies and brand guidelines.

The Requirements:

  • Business Acumen skills – Proven ability to increase sales and profitability
  • Demonstrate sound commercial and brand awareness
  • Customer management skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and people management skill
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical Proficiency with MS applications.

Ability to work flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends and Public holidays.

Must be fluent in English and preferably Maltese plus one other language
