Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Growth, the key responsibility of the role will be to develop new Leads & Sales, for the Collective. Following a direct-sales B2B strategy the ideal person will be capable of reaching out to everyday businesses and introducing our holistic solution. Working with The Collectives team, and with collaboration with the Head of department you will follow a GTM strategy to introduce our solution to as many companies as possible, it’s a numbers game!

Develop introductions into relationships, offer our solution, use this opportunity to engage with the client at multiple levels and handover to the co-ordinating team to complete and fulfill the company’s need.

Our current brands stem from 15 years of investment in IP & accreditation across 4 brands, all with a credible reputation and well known in Malta.

As a newly formed Collective our company is consistently developing, disrupting and reinventing the way we do things and the markets in which we work. This role helps developing our USP’s and driving our business forward, our intention is to SET those standards and guidance for our clients and the business community.

The Collective will see significant growth over the next 18 months, after securing strong investment. Through constant LEAN adjustments and increased levels of activity our aim is to increase our engagement by introducing our full solution.

The LG & NBD team will consist of an experienced leader, who leads from the front. With several Business Solutions Consultants, with backgrounds in various industries to add a niche and expertise. This team will be supported by a Partner Manager, responsible for reaching and securing new types of revenue through joint-ventures and collaboration.

The position will be office based, with some flexibility to an eventual hybrid role. A dedicated space will be provided with all tools and systems, with investment being available for new & proven ideas for both Lead Gen & Business Development.

The Collectives financial vision has been set and will be discussed in detail, including expectations, targets, incentives and rewards. A business plan will be expected to be followed by the successful candidate, working within the timeframe, budget & vision to meet the group’s needs.

This role will be covered ideally by a native Maltese speaker, fluent in English and preferably multi lingual. Local connections & relationships will be essential to the success of the role, holding influence, presence and credibility within the business community. You will be expected to attend events, cold-calls, LinkedIn approaches, etc.

The person MUST be ‘Hands-on’ and driven individual, proactive and driven as they learn our business and GTM with multiple services and our holistic solution. They will be expected to arrive with a strong contact/connection database and a proven track-record of success in sales & business development, with a clear understanding of lead generation. It is critical that this person understands activity & numbers are key (e.g. the more people you speak to, then the more people will buy our solution).

Job Duties

• Follow the direction of the Head of Strategic Growth, and the vision set out for The Collectives growth.

• You will work alongside other senior persons, meet with clients, present & propose our solution and forward deals/sales onto the Delivery teams, across the Collective to complete.

• Introduce our solutions to as many people as possible, using LinkedIn, email campaigns, events, cold-calls, walk-ins and news articles you see businesses struggling for solutions.

• Supported by the Head of Strategic Growth discuss together how best to attack a prospect and offer our USP’s that the single product/service competitors cannot compete with.

• Our expectation is strong activity, constant engagement, strategical discussion, inclusion of our ‘Subject Matter Experts’ and demanding referrals from every business/client/prospect.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation is key to the company’s growth and the focus, the relationship is key, allowing us open opportunities both now and in the future.

• Build relationships with clients, use the delivery teams within the business to provide the service and expertise.

• Collaborate with your clients and prospects, expand the brand awareness and attend conferences as required.

• Form a solution with the client, not a single product, and avoid a transactional sale. Work with the

client to embed yourself within their business as a true consultant that adds value.
