We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Airline Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in the airline or travel industry who enjoys developing business relationships, driving passenger sales, and working in a fast-paced international environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing passenger revenue for our represented airlines by strengthening relationships across the travel trade, corporate sector, and tourism industry while promoting airline products and services throughout the local market.

This position requires previous airline or travel industry experience and the flexibility to travel internationally for airline meetings, conferences, trade events, and business development activities.

Your Role

As the commercial representative for our airline partners, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring our airlines maintain a strong presence within the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive passenger sales and achieve revenue targets in line with airline and GSA commercial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), consolidators, and corporate travel accounts.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and training sessions to promote airline routes, schedules, fares, and ancillary products.
  • Identify new business opportunities across the leisure, corporate, and VFR (Visiting Friends & Relatives) travel segments.
  • Plan and execute trade marketing initiatives, agent incentive programmes, roadshows, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support new route launches, increased frequencies, and product introductions.
  • Monitor booking trends, market developments, and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities and recommend sales strategies.
  • Represent our airline partners at local and international trade fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Prepare sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance updates for airline principals.
  • Ensure full compliance with airline policies, commercial agreements, and reporting standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within the airline industry, aviation, GSA, or travel sector is essential.
  • Proven experience in airline sales, account management, business development, or travel trade sales.
  • Strong understanding of airline distribution channels, fare structures, and commercial sales practices.
  • Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and airline reservation platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with travel trade and corporate clients.
  • Commercially focused with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and sales performance.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required.

Business Travel

This role includes regular business travel, both locally and internationally. The successful candidate should be comfortable travelling to represent our airline partners at meetings, industry events, commercial workshops, and training programmes.
