Quality Control Specialist (Food Manufacturing)

Our client is looking for a Quality Control Specialist. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Recommending changes in process/methods or materials to improve product quality or yield

• Reviewing records/data of incoming and production processes as to ensure that they meet specifications for use in production

• Ensuring that all products meet quality standards by testing them to identify defects or measuring them to ensure that they meet legal requirements

• Training / developing and lead relevant personnel to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures and food safety standards

• Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001, GFSI Quality Systems
• Root Cause Analysis (e.g., FMEA, SWOT, Ishikawa, Fish Bone)
• Physical / chemical Analysis & IPC control
• Auditing experience (internal, external)

• MQF Level 6, bachelor’s degree in food science/food technology, Engineering, or related field (Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Biotechnology).
