Our client, an extremely reputable firm that oversees design and project management on a range of exciting projects, due to continued expansion and promotions within the business, a Project Manager specializing in Finishes are now required to take responsibility for personnel, operational controls, financial flows, and the finishing of projects.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Complete reports on all operational divisions
Develop and implement plans to improve policies, systems, and procedures
Work to tight budgets and deadlines
Preparation and updating of the daily program of works
Problem-solving includes dealing with issues on-site, staff sickness, adverse weather
Supporting the Director in the preparation of tenders and formulating new project contracts with prospective customers
Conducting thorough site visits to check the work and the standard of work
Create a database with suppliers’ details and update regularly with products and price comparisons
Ensuring a high level of health and safety on-site at all times
Monitoring and managing employees and subcontractors
Supporting in the preparation of tenders
Requirements:
Candidates should have experience in a similar role, and
