Project Engineer Manager (Based in Libya)

Our client who specializes in the Oil and Gas industry is looking for a Project Engineer Manager to be based in Libya. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Managing complex plant construction projects, ensuring operational excellence
• Leading interdisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth
• Overseeing budget and actively participating in quality management to meet standards and goals
• Facilitating effective communication and coordination between stakeholders
• Championing team and department development, implementing strategies to enhance performance and growth.
• Overseeing Mechanical Projects holistically including FEED Study, Engineering, Project Management, Tender Evaluations/Bidding Activities and Project Execution

Based in Libya - Frequent travel

• Experience in project management, ideally in plant construction
• Commitment to environmental and safety standards in the oil and gas industry. Skilled in managing and optimizing KPIs
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and leadership skills
• Willingness for national and international travel
• At least 5 years of previous experience on site in a similar job is a must

• Technical degree, preferably in BSC mechanical engineering.
