About You  

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to oversee the successful delivery of a variety of €0.5-5M business projects across multiple areas of the company, while also ensuring the efficient operation of our business office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and managing complex projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. This is a pivotal role within the company and involves managing the onboarding and integration of acquired game studios, as well as assisting in the operational management of the Publishing Company in Malta. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on project management to ensure smooth transitions and operational efficiency and could be an excellent career development opportunity for the right person.

You have: 

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in a commercial setting, preferably within the video games or tech industries. 
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing information. 
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 
• At least 5 years of experience in managing business projects. 
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Asana, Jira, ClickUp, etc.). 

This role would benefit from a business minded individual with an extensive background in the video games industry, although experience of similar environments may be sufficient.   

About the role 

The Commercial Projects Manager will be a pivotal role within the Reforged Group, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the core business division, as well as the smooth integration and coordination with each of the group’s individual studios.  

Key aspects of the role include:  

•  Lead the onboarding process for newly acquired game studios, ensuring a seamless integration into our network. 
• Manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders to align new studios with our corporate culture and operational practices. 
• Develop and oversee detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources required to achieve business objectives. 
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure compliance and alignment with corporate strategies. 
• Act as a key liaison between the Malta Publishing Company and acquired studios, facilitating communication and project alignment. 
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion within timeframe and budget. 
• Report regularly on project status, challenges, and outcomes to senior management, highlighting opportunities for process improvement and changes that could enhance efficiency and productivity. 
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Malta business office, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity. 
• Manage project documentation, including scope, requirements, and project plans. 
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication.
