Manufacturing Process Technology Manager

Our Client, a well known Pharmaceutical company is looking for a Manufacturing Process Technology Manager to lead process improvements, technology transfers, and technical projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role focuses on improving efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and improve pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, equipment performance, and production output.
• Manage product transfers, including process implementation, equipment assessments, and project coordination.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvement projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and manufacturing records.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Support and develop technical team members.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: Flexi-Time + hybrid work options

Requirements

• Strong local experience within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
• Experience in technology transfer, formulation, process engineering, and solid dosage manufacturing.
• Experience leading improvement projects and technical investigations.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Candidate must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta.
• Must hold an excellent level of verbal and written English.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, or related field.
