General Manager

Our client is a well established company in Malta who manages a large operation. They would require a General Manager as they are growing their business.

The Role

• You will oversee differerent operations within the group ensuring strategic growth, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability. 
• You will design and implement strategic roadmaps to align with long-term business goals. 
• Business development initiatives will focus on identifying market opportunities and forming strategic partnerships. 
• You will create a culture of agility and innovation will be promoted, integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices. 
• Operationally, you will ensure efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the highest safety standards. 
• Streamlining processes across group entities will enhance effectiveness in the operations.
• Technology will be leveraged to improve operational productivity and responsiveness. 
• You will be responsible for P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning. 
• Financial controls and variance analysis will be used to optimize performance and achieve cost savings. 
• Revenue streams will be expanded through client acquisition, relationship management, and business diversification. 
• A high-performance culture will be cultivated, emphasizing accountability and innovation. 
• Talent management strategies will focus on recruitment, training, and retention. T
• You will act as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders, ensuring superior service delivery. 
• Regular reporting to the Chairman and Board will ensure transparency and strategic alignment. 

• Strong leadership experience
• Have strong financial acumen
• Stakeholder engagement skills will be critical for success in this role
• Preferably have tertiary level of education
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have proven organisational skills
