Job Description
Michael Debono Ltd (MDL) in Malta is seeking to appoint a goal-driven Marketing Executive to join the Marketing team.

Michael Debono Ltd (MDL) is part of the Debono Group, a multifaceted group of companies with a keen focus on the mobility sector . The company aims to deliver business growth by tapping into innovation that really impacts the lives of consumers. The product offering is composed of passenger and commercial vehicles, motorbikes, vehicle parts and accessories and aftersales services. The company also offers consumers a range of consumer finance solutions to fund the acquisition of their vehicles.

The Position:
As an essential member of the marketing team, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting, planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall marketing strategy directed at maximizing company profit.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns across our social media and online platforms
• Manage website development and content to ensure it's appealing to our audience while maximising SEO. This will include website content updates and redesigning.
• Generating ideas to improve the companies brand reach and awareness initiatives
• Ensuring all marketing materials are in line with the brand guidelines
• Writing and proof-reading marketing material for both online and print campaigns
• Planning Social Media initiatives, including monthly calendars, copywriting, and audience targeting
• Liaising and working closely with external agencies and 3rd party marketing partners and suppliers
• Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
• Organize and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
• Coordinating with other departments to strengthen internal marketing.

The Requirements:

• Marketing qualification at MQF Level 5 or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
• Solid knowledge of digital marketing techniques, WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO, and PPC
• Expertise in marketing analytics, acquisition marketing, and social media marketing
• Solid understanding of customer dynamics and segmentation
• Basic understanding of Photoshop is considered an asset
• IT Proficiency is a must as well as having an excellent eye for detail
• Being able to work under pressure in a very dynamic environment
• Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach
• Being able to co-ordinate multiply related and non-related tasks to achieve results
• A hands-on role so must be self-motived and an outside-the-box thinker.
