Events Coordinator

General Soft Drinks Co Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Events Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Purpose: 
The Event Coordinator will have the responsibility of managing all events for the organisation. This includes overseeing all aspects of event planning and management, including internal and external events.

Responsibilities:

• Establish requirements from individual Marketing Managers in terms of event research and planned events and to source, research and recommend events to support the achievement of sales targets/objectives
• Maintain and control the events calendar in support of all business channels
• Liaise with the wider Marketing and Services Team (Brands, Design, Activation and Distribution Services) to ensure all event production is coordinated effectively and appropriate representation
• To support the wider Marketing team in the delivery of cross-product marketing and communications projects as necessary i.e. product launches, presentations to sales teams, and events at POS
• Work alongside the PAC department to ensure event activities are targeted and amplified in all owned and not owned media channels
• Managing the budget approval process for events in conjunction with the Brands team
• Be the first point of contact for all school visits and viewing gallery visits/events
• Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers, other departments and third parties and treat all information gathered in a confidential manner. Thus, managing all one-off queries and complaints in the CIS system.

Requirements:

• Degree in hospitality management, management, public relations or a relevant field
• Proven experience as an event coordinator
• A proven track record of organising successful events
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent vendor management skills.
