Head of Sales & Marketing

A leading company in Malta is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join their C-Suite as the Head of Sales and Marketing. Reporting directly to the CEO, the selected individual will be responsible for driving the company's sales and marketing strategy to achieve growth, profitability, and increased market share.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives;
• Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth across multiple segments;
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key clients, principals and stakeholders;
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth;
• Drive the creation and implementation of all marketing campaigns and new product development;
• Monitor the organisation, operation and performance of the company's large events
• Manage the department budget and expenditure, ensuring efficient allocation of marketing assets and resources;
• Monitor key performance metrics, reporting on sales and marketing progress;
• Collaborate with all other departments and subsidiaries to ensure an integrated approach and seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Strong understanding of the local FMCG landscape and industry is a must
• Proven track record of success, minimum 5 years in a senior sales and marketing role;
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Excellent digital skills, data analysis and high proficiency in CRM systems;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Able to communicate in both English and Maltese
