We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to join our client's team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the whole accounts payable processes, processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, assisting in VAT submissions, financial reporting etc.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a company that focuses on bringing together design, building, construction, waste management, as well as scaffolding and is located in Mosta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Foreign Purchases and NSO Declarations.
Manage the whole accounts payable processes, including payments, invoicing, credit control and follow-up of overdue payments.
Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Reconcile supplier statements and manage any discrepancies.
Assist in the submission of VAT returns.
Provide financial reports and periodic analysis of accounts for different stakeholders.
Participate in meetings with various departments, management and executives.
Assist with the Auditing Process Application to payments.
Prepare and provide regular cash flow forecasts and reports to Managements.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
3 years' experience in a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Knowledge of Microsoft Navision and/or Business Central will be considered an asset).
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and Interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
EDUCATION
An A Level qualification in Accounts, an AAT qualification, or possession of a number of ACCA exams, or related.
WORKING TIME
Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, 40 hours per week.
