Our client within the Retail Industry is looking for an Assistant to the Financial Controller to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to learn and manage companies independently once the right training is given.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of cash flow projections 
  • Preparing the management accounts 
  • Assisting in the audit process and liaise with any external personnel 
  • Leading, mentoring and motivating the accounts team 
  • Assisting in the preparation of the forecasts and budgets 
  • Assisting in other ad- hoc projects

 

Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience 
  • Desire to grow personally and professionally 
  • Fluent in the Maltese language
Education and Experience
  • Being in possession of an accounting qualification, or currently undergoing one
