Truck Driver and Mobile Crane Operator

RM Developers Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Truck Driver and Mobile Crane Operator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Only Candidates residing in Malta with a valid working permit will be considered.

Job Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Truck Driver and Mobile Crane Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a truck and mobile crane to transport and lift heavy materials and equipment. This is a physically demanding job that requires strong technical skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a truck and mobile crane to transport and lift materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and crane to ensure they are in good working condition
• Secure and properly load materials and equipment onto the truck and crane using appropriate rigging techniques
• Operate the crane controls to lift and position materials and equipment according to job site requirements
• Communicate with team members and site supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operation of the truck and crane
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment transported and lifted
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the truck and crane as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of rigging techniques and crane operation procedures
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a truck and mobile crane
