CNC Operator and Machinist

We are looking for a skilled individual to operate CNC machinery and perform precision machining tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, to produce high-quality furniture
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
• Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Requirements:

• Certification in machining is preferred
• Proven experience as a CNC operator and machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and operation
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with various machining tools and equipment, including measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
