Injection Mould Setter

Feelings Enterprises Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Injection Mould Setter to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Mould Setter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining injection moulding machines, ensuring they operate efficiently to produce high-quality products. The Injection Mould Setter will play a crucial role in the production process by configuring moulds, conducting machine adjustments, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. 

Responsibilities:

• Mould Setup: Set up and install moulds on injection moulding machines according to production requirements
• Machine Calibration: Adjust machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle time, to optimise the injection moulding process and meet quality standards
• Material Handling: Load raw materials into hoppers, ensuring proper blending and distribution for consistent product quality
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections on moulded products to ensure they meet specifications and make necessary adjustments to the moulding process as needed
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to the injection moulding process, including but not limited to, machine malfunctions, mould issues, and material inconsistencies
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mould setups, adjustments, and production parameters for future reference
• Collaboration: Work closely with production and quality control teams to meet production schedules and address any quality concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Injection Mould Setter in a manufacturing environment
• Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure precision in mould setup and product quality
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with safety standards
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in production schedules and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
