Our client, a manufacturing company based in Malta, is looking for a CNC Process Coordinator. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the CNC cutting machine production department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring optimal utilisation of CNC cutting machines and resources.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and address any issues.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality components.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any product quality issues.
  • Oversee regular maintenance of CNC cutting machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure a steady supply of materials needed for production.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.

 

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0615hrs - 1445hrs

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Excellent level of written and verbal Maltese & English.
  • Previous experience in CNC cutting machine operations and production management will be given preference
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and processes.
  • Ability to analyse and optimise production workflows.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
