Lawyer

Our client, a leading company in the fast moving consumer goods is seeking a detail-oriented In-House Lawyer to manage all legal operations. The selected candidate will report directly to the CEO, working closely within all departments to ensure smooth legal processes, accurate contract management, compliance with industry regulations, and risk mitigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive legal professional to contribute to the organization’s success.

Responsibilities:

•  Ensure corporate compliance by drafting and submitting required documents to the MBR.
• Provide legal support through drafting and reviewing various contracts, including leases, employment agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Advise on relevant regulations and legal matters such as those related to intellectual property.
• Represent company in court when necessary.
• Offer legal guidance and support to all departments within the organization mainly with the internal audit department as well as security & compliance.
• Take minutes during senior management meetings.
• Liaise with outsource law firms as necessary.
• Foster and promote a culture of good governance across the organization.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

• locally qualified and warranted to practice law in Malta.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English
• Previous experience in an in-house role will be considered an asset.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate Law
