Corporate and Compliance Lawyer

Our client within the banking industry is looking for a Corporate and Compliance Lawyer to join their team

Responsibilities: 

• The central point of contact for correspondence with clients, notaries, external advisors, regulatory and governmental bodies, and other relevant parties
• Providing the required legal support and assistance
• Assisting and provide assistance concerning the drafting, negotiating, and performance of contracts
• Directly involved from a compliance ensuring that the proper structures are in place internally
• Keeping abreast with the local Jurisdiction and assisting the Risk Compliance Officer with any adhoc tasks and duties
• Liasing with the respective Authorities and Regulators to ensure compliance with the respective legislation
• Providing advice and assisting in corporate transactions and restructuring of corporate entities
• Drafting and reviewing contracts in various areas in accordance with the needs of clients
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• A team player
• Able to meet deadlines and present findings to the board of Directors

• Fully certified and warranted in Law
